I want to take things slowly. I know more about what I want, and I'm very serious in finding long term and beyond with the right person, also looking for new friends. We need to ask the right questions early on. I'm also looking for regular friends with similar interests.
I've been told I'm sweet, considerate, and very chill about everything. A little introverted, but I open quicker with people I have more interests with. My humor can range from dark humor, sarcastic, and sometimes just fun juvenile. I try to take care of my health, I don't smoke (I hate the smell and have a little asthma), and I don't do drugs. I only drink socially but still rarely. My main goal from here is a relationship that starts like we could be great/best friends with at least a few things in common, and transitions into a relationship once we feel comfortable with moving forward. I'm in this for a long term to lifetime drama-free relationship. I can get a little sensitive at times, which I think is weird given the type of humor I like.
I enjoy pop/internet/geek culture. Not obsessively (sort of?), but maybe to a comfortable medium degree... or maybe I'm just kidding myself. I have an ever-changing array of creative outlets and hobbies at times. But I also love to get out a lot and discover new activities and adventures. I always try to be true to my word and honest. I can be weird in my own little way, but for the most part normal. I'm more comfortable in smaller groups, but usually prefer me and one or two other people. I can be a kid at heart at times. A t-shirt and jeans guy 90% of the time. Not a fan of "old school" dating rules. I'm a fan of keeping the dynamics equal.. On that note, I'm also an egalitarian... I'm not really political, but I guess I consider myself somewhere in the center. I like the idea of having kids, though I'm unsure of it.
What I am looking for
It'd be nice to find someone open minded and occasionally adventurous. You're calm and positive. Having a wide range of humor is pretty good, I like dark humor. People would say you are kind, trustworthy, sweet, patient, emotionally stable. And if there's ever a misunderstanding, feelings should be mended right away calmly and not ignored. If you try to take care of your mind/body/health, and also we can help each other accomplish that now and then.
NO extremely religious people! I'm fine if you believe in whatever, but I don't expect me to go to church or do any of that other stuff.
Extra points if creative and/or goofy, and have mostly a positive attitude. A bit of tomboy-ish-ness is nice. You have a hobby or passion for something outside or inside of your job. Reliability, warmth, fairness, understanding, communication. You believe relationship / clear dating dynamics should be 100% equal. Clear communication. I don't want to ever be a statistic of divorce. And when it comes to marriage (jumping the gun here I guess) I never really thought that expensive ones were ever necessary, money spend on that should really go towards more neccessary things for living. Though I am keen on theme ones, if I get to that point.
